I am curious about the traditional methods and skills that sailors use to find their way, such as reading the stars, using a compass, and understanding the movement of the ocean currents. I am also interested in learning about the history of sailing and how it has evolved over time. **

To remove rust from metal tools, you can use a few different methods. One common method is to soak the tools in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for a few hours, then scrub the rust off with a wire brush or steel wool. Another option is to create a paste using baking soda and water, apply it to the rusted areas, let it sit for a few hours, then scrub it off. You can also use a commercial rust remover product following the manufacturer's instructions. After removing the rust, make sure to dry the tools thoroughly and apply a thin coat of oil to prevent future rusting. **

Additionally, a brush or vacuum can be used to sweep or suck up the shavings from the tool's surface. It's important to wear protective gear such as gloves and goggles when handling metal shavings to avoid injury. **
