While metal detecting can be an exciting hobby, it is not uncommon to have days where there are hardly any finds. The amount of finds can vary depending on the location, the equipment being used, and the experience of the detectorist. Factors such as the age of the area being searched, human activity in the past, and the presence of other metal objects can also impact the number of finds. Patience and persistence are key when metal detecting, as even a single valuable or historically significant find can make the effort worthwhile. **

Some of my best finds while metal detecting include a silver coin from the 1800s, a vintage pocket watch, and a military dog tag from World War II. These discoveries not only hold historical significance but also have sentimental value to me. Each find has added to my collection and provided me with a deeper connection to the past. **

When metal detecting with a metal detector, the finds can include a wide range of metal objects such as coins, jewelry, buttons, buckles, and other artifacts. Additionally, metal detectors can also pick up on larger items like weapons, tools, and even buried treasure. The specific finds will depend on the location being searched, the sensitivity of the metal detector, and the experience of the detectorist. Overall, metal detecting can uncover a variety of interesting and valuable items with historical and cultural significance. **

The origin of the word "butterfly" in English is uncertain, but one theory suggests that it may have come from the Old English word "buttorfleoge," which means "butterfly." This could be because butterflies were often seen fluttering around dairy products like butter. Another theory is that the name comes from the yellow color of some species, resembling the color of butter. Ultimately, the exact reason for the name "butterfly" remains a bit of a mystery. **

Male butterfly cichlids chase female butterfly cichlids as part of their natural mating behavior. The chasing is a way for the male to assert dominance and court the female. By chasing the female, the male is trying to show his strength and suitability as a mate. This behavior is common in many cichlid species as a way to establish a pair bond and eventually spawn. **
